Athletic Training

Hendricks Regional Health and Putnam County Hospital will support DePauw’s Sports Medicine Staff to provide athletic training and sports medicine care for the 550 DePauw University students participating on the college’s 23 sports teams.

Clinicians will work to enhance the student athletic experience through evidence-based care and injury prevention efforts. The staff will focus on promoting optimal wellness for every student-athlete – while protecting them from illness and injury. In addition, clinicians will serve as a resource for coaching staff. Other services will include:

• CPR instruction for new coaches.
• ImPACT testing for DePauw intercollegiate student-athletes
• Ongoing education for coaching staff on relevant topics.
